Hello peeps,

Its been a hot minute since I posted, I've got a bunch of stuff to share! Lots more experimental stuff coming so bear with me :)

ANIMATIONS:

I unfortunately have not finished anything since the clip for the El Dorado redialed project that was completed almost a year ago, although I've got a couple different projects in work that I am working on at various stages of progress.

I have a couple short clips I want to finish up that I am hella excited to show (when finished) and a longer >1 minute animation at various stages of completion. I still have big plans for that deep sea animation I mentioned a hoooot minute back in a previous update, although there is very little progress made (aside from the idea).

As for the biiiig big BIG project I mentioned in a previous update with the working title 'Threads and Needles' - I still plan to make this someday, although I decided I want to improve my animation to a level I feel will allow to me to illustrate my idea for it well. I have a working storyboard completed for it as of like 2 years ago, but I don't expect to get to this one for at least a year or two (although some testing animations may come out sooner)

ILLUSTRATIONS

Ima keep these up, although I'll be following a less rigid style. Ill be posting some traditional penwork, digital stuff, some contest entries I did (stay tuned for that ;) as well as some other stuff like collage work and who knows what else!

As for that goal of filling up my 110-page illustration book...that was a bad idea lol. Setting myself unrealistic goals to push for quantity over quality ended up just stopping me in my tracks and I got barely anything done the rest of that year after realizing the goal was too far-fetched. That being said - you will be posting some more illustrations from this book from time to time.

I am working on taking a much free-er approach to art and getting work done at a somewhat consistent rate, rather than burning myself out right at the starting line -> which has made creating stuff far more enjoyable :)))))

LIFE UPDATE:

As for the 'real me' I've been doing really well, and have been hella busy doing loads of other hobbies and setting my life up in Montreal! This is the main reason why there has been so little artistic activity posted from me the last year, but I am getting back in the groove of art with some fresh new ideas and some improved illustration abilities :))))

Anyways, expect some more activity on this account near the end of the year and the next year as well! Hope y'all have been doing well - I've got tons of art to catch up on from the community here!!!!
